open multiple files

Hi,

I can't open more than one file at a time with ImageJ.  Following
advice from a previous post in the list (002476) didn't help because,
although I have version 1.4, there is no "Use jFileChooser" option to
enable in Edit/Options/Miscellaneous. Can somebody help me?

In my installation that appears under
Edit>Options>Input/Output...
