Re: problem to save images to jpg

Alan Hewat-2
Bonjour Patricia.

Installer 32-bit ImageJ et Java plutôt que 64-bit ImageJ, même sur un
ordinateur 64-bit.

Cordialement, Alan

Re: problem to save images to jpg

Alan Hewat-2
Sorry for my previous post in French. And I see that ImageJ is now only
proposed with Java 64-bit <https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/download.html> so my
advice is unhelpful as well :-) But I have found that 32-bit applications
seem less likely to encounter conflicts on my Win-10 64-bit pro NUC and I
have the 32-bit version updated to 1.52K running fine with Java 1.8.0_121
(32-bit).

Patricia's problem is probably due to a version conflict, rather than a
problem with ImageJ. She might try dis-installing all instances of ImageJ
and Java, re-boot (since it's Windows :-) and re-installing ImageJ with
Java 64-bit.

Re: problem to save images to jpg

Stein Rørvik
Downloading "ImageJ bundled with 64-bit Java 1.8.0_112" from https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/download.html should indeed help. This file includes its own 64-bit Java runtime so there will be no conflicts with whatever is installed by the OS. But be aware that it is a "vanilla" ImageJ 1.x version which does not include the Fiji plugins.
