Dear list members,
I am looking for the macro pzfociez for gamma-H2AX foci analysis. It was written by Pawel Znojek and a search on the list and web links it to http://www.pzfociez.com/. However it looks like this website does not exist anymore. Does somebody know if there is a new download side for this macro or how I might be able to contact Pawel. Many thanks Kees Dr Ir K.R. Hi Ed and list members,
As far as I can see the link only has the front page, any other links don't work and I don't see an option to download the macro. Any change somebody has this macro on their system and could send it to me? Dear Pavan,
I will send you the macro off list as I received it from Peter van Loon after placing a request on this list. Additional info can be found at: https://theses.ncl.ac.uk/dspace/bitstream/10443/1459/1/Znojek12.pdf (thanks to Chin for pointing me in that direction). BW Kees Dr Ir K.R. Dear Ion C. Andronache, The PDF file you sent was a bit confusing for a beginner, I was able to make the mask of my DAPI image, and then combine it with my H2AX staining - after then how do I proceed to count the foci per nuclei? I clicked on the 'Fluorecence intensity measurement and counting' then on 'FociRB', it then open a dialog box to select the image, I select my H2AX staining picture - and it says 'File is not in a supported format, reader plugin not available, or it was not found'. My image was in .tiff format and was 8bit color image. Also when I combined the mask of DAPI with H2AX, the outlines appeared around the nuclei (on my H2AX image). Then I chose the 'Find Maxima' option, all the foci inside the nucleus where marked and it counted the foci - but I want it for each nuclei.. Please help... Just point out to a video if its available, or simply outline the steps I should follow. Many thanks, Pavan |
