save multipoint selection with image

Nikolas Schrod
Dear all,

I am trying to save a multipoint selection together with an image. I'd need to
'burn in' the selection, so I can save it and show the image for example in
presentations.
If I use 'flatten', the point selections are rendered too small to see. Is
there a way of changing this? Or any other solution to my problem (other than
a screenshot...) ?
Thanks,
Nikolas

PS: I'm aware an overlay is saved with the image and restored if saved as
TIFF. But of course this works only if the image is opened in imageJ.

Nikolas,

not perfectly sure what you mean by multipoint selection but if this
happens to be a polygon selection, then you can simply draw it
according to the current foreground colour (Edit > Draw). If the line
width is inconvenient, you may set it differently (Edit > Selection >
Properties).

Second try...

Edit > Selection > Enlarge

then

Edit > Fill

may result in what you wish.

Set "Mark width" in the Edit>Options>Point Tool dialog to the desired point diameter and then use the Edit>Draw command, which will draw the points in the foreground color. To draw in color, you may need to first convert the image to RGB.
