scion 1312M camera and MacOS yosemite limited success

jvander
Hello.  I am happy (and surprised!) to report that I got my scion Visicapture software working on a relatively new MacBook Pro running Yosemite.  I am able to control my Scion 1312M camera in a basic way.  If anyone wants some pointers on how to do this I am happy to share information.

I would like to control it with the MicroManager application that works through ImageJ.  MicroManager has some handy advanced features like live line scans.  I am successfully controlling a couple of other firewire cameras with MicroManager, but I have failed to get the Scion to work.

Specifically, running the newest MicroManager 1.4, the Scion configuration is looking for a file called sfwcore.frameworks and cannot find it.

Does anyone with a Scion product maybe have that file?  Or other advice on running it from my Mac?

I will also post this to the MicroManager boards.

thanks,

Joe v.
