stage control through ImageJ?

Kenneth Sloan-2
I'm working with a group doing microscopy with:

*Ludl BioPoint 2 stage / Mac 2000 controller

  *Mac running Snow Leopard

This setup formerly worked with IPLab, but doesn't seem to work now.
Someone else is poking Biovision to see if there is a new driver.

Is there some chance I can get ImageJ to contol the stage?

Looking ahead - the next generation of software may dictate a PC.  Does this make
a difference for ImageJ capabilities?  (driving the stage, capturing image data - sorry, I
don't have the camera setup at hand)

Hi Kenneth,

Are you familiar with Micro-manager? Definitely worth looking into
for controlling an image acquisition system, and it's based around
ImageJ. http://micro-manager.org/
