strange behavior of new version

Jon Harman-3
Hi,

I am not sure exactly how to describe this in a searchable way, so this
may have been covered in the list.

I sometimes use ImageJ as an external editor (in Irfanview on Windows
XP).  After downloading the latest version (1.43i) I notice that
irfanview creates a new instance of ImageJ whenever I call it, even if
an instance is already running.  This is not the case for the previous
version that I was running: 1.42h.

You need to enable "Run socket listener" in Edit>Options>Misc.
