update problems

Johannes Breu
I tried to update via Plugins/Utilities/Update but it doesn´t work. A window
pops up:

Unable to open release notes at http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/notes.html

Is there an alternative?

Thanks

Re: update problems

Hi Johannes,

did you check that the internet connection is ok and you can
open that web page in a web browser on the same computer?
Also, check whether a Firewall on your computer would block
internet access by ImageJ.

The alternative - see http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/upgrade/ :

Get ij.jar from http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/upgrade/ij.jar
and move it into the ImageJ directory.
