Dear ImageJ Community,
We are attempting to set up a centralized network ImageJ here and are struggling with the use of the IJ_Prefs.txt file for windows users. As I understand it from the source, the IJ_Prefs file is looked for in the working directory for windows users, but in the home directory for Linux and Mac users. Is it possible to force it to look for the prefs file in the home directory also for windows users? As it stands now, the preferences of any one user are constantly being written to the central IJ_Prefs file and one always gets an error on exit if they do not have write permissions to the program folder. If anyone has any ideas on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
