Composite Selection Measurement

Don Cartagena
Hello,

I have a bunch of selections loaded into the ROI manager.  I would like to
get  composite "mean intensity" measurement of all selections as 1
measurement.

So for example if i have 2 selections(s1, s2) in the ROI  manager and

s1 = 173 mean intensity
s2 = 145 mean intesity

(if they were measured individually)

I want their composite intensity as if they were measured as 1 unit.

Does someone have any ideas how to do this.

I don't know how to merge rois, but measure additionally the areas
(a1,a2) of the rois
  then

s12=(s1*a1+s2*a2)/(a1+a2)

Karsten

Hi there,

what if in the roi manager, you select nothing, go to "more" choose
combine...then all your roi's will be measured as one...

May this help ?

Fabrice.
