Determining Volume of Sphere-Simple

cam3453
Hi
I am very new to image analysis, and was wondering if the volume of a sphere could be estimated using the ImageJ software. Basically, I have photographs of partially submerged buoys and want to know if I can use them to determine the volume of the non-submerged portion. I know the actual volume of the sphere buoy.
Thanks

Noname,

if you know that the objects are spheres and if you are able to
determine their circular conture at the water surface, then you can
easily compute the volumes in question.
