Hi, I'm just wondering about a few things related to the ImageJ project
wrt to contributing.

1. Is there a public RCS (Revision Control System) somewhere?

2. How would you like patches?

3. Is there a reason why there is no license released together with the
source code?

Kind regards,
Tarjei

Not stricly pure ImageJ, but almost.

Wayne likes full .java files, if possible packed in ij.jar that works.

Public Domain. That is the license.

What is your expertise Tarjei? What projects do you have in mind? Would
be nice to know.

Cheers,

Albert

Git, cool :)

Does it follow the releases? Does it contain extra patches?

I'm doing a masters in the bright young field of testing webpages using
screenshots.

http://browserbeaten.blogspot.com/2008/01/using-selenium-for-getting-full-image.html
 tells part of the story.

The patches I'm considering is mainly for documentation right now, but
maybe some plugins or some other stuff later.

PS: Why isn't there a complete plugins download?

kind regards,
Tarjei

Sounds very cool.

There is the Tony Collins bundle of plugins + manual for analysis of
images from optical microscopes.

Other collections existed in the past, but to my knowledge were not
mantained.

A plugins manager would be great (one like JEdit has would be absolutely
great). If you want to write it, go ahead. We may eventually create one
... but it's uncertain when -it's not a priority.

As for ImageJA's git repos: it is always updated to the latest (thanks
to Johannes Schindelin), and contains extra patches not in mainstream
ImageJ.
