Hi Massimo,
I haven't used a white LED source on a light microscope but do you have a colour balance filter on your microscope? If it's a Nikon, it will probably be labelled CB, Leica might be OLF, Zeiss also CB and Olympus is LBD.
Otherwise, if you have to do it post-capture, you can use the Colour Balance plugin as long as you have an area that you can select for white balance. There are also other correction options in ImageJ such as adjusting the colour balance directly by channel (Image - Adjust - Colour balance), using the RGB histogram.
Kind regards,
Jacqui

Subject: Green background
Hi all,
when I take a photo at my microscope in trasmitted light by using a white LED
source
with a Nikon Coolpix digital camera 4800 I obtain an image with a light green
background.
I do not understand the reason because the light is white.
How can I solve this problem during or after shooting?
Thank you for your help.
Kind Regards,
Massimo
