Image alignment

Shaoqing Zhang
Dear everyone,

Now I am doing FRET image analysis. And I am now using Matlab command

tform = cp2tform(input_points, base_points, 'lwm')

to align the CFP and YFP images.

But it is required a lot of reference points which are obtained manually and usually I have to many images to deal with. Is there a better (automated at best) way to do image registration? Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,

The TurboReg/StackReg plugins are very good.  We use them with our plugin.

Re: Image alignment

Thanks a lot to Colin!

Our fluorescence images are usually composed of some spread spots, and local weighted mean (lwm) is the best option. And there is no this transform in TurboReg/StackReg plugins. I hope to get more help on this from everyone. Thanks.
