Inquiring about computing requirement of IMAGEJ

Mariette Awad
Hello,
I am interested in knowing the computing requirement  (memory space mainly)
to use IMAGEJ. Is IMAGEJ suited to run on sensor nodes (wireless)for
instance with limited computing capabilities?

Please advice and thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Mariette

Hello Mariette,

ImageJ requires a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to run. This means that
it can run on any hardware platform that has a JVM.  There are some
JVMs that run on very limited hardware, like cell phones.

What kind of hardware does your wireless sensor node have?  If your
nodes are anything like the ones I've seen in my friend's lab, they
are not nearly powerful enough.
