Problem with stacks.

Danny Misiak
Hi all,

since version 1.46 of ImageJ I have problems to create and show stacks. My screen flickers and the title discription inside the stack is black and not visible. After sliding through the stack my system freezes. The last working Version was 1.46g.

Maybe anyone can help me to solve this problem. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) and Java 1.6.0.26.

Kind regards, Danny.

Can you advise steps to reproduce the problem and upload a dataset (if
you cannot reproduce the problem with the sample data)?

Hi all,

I solved the problems by disabling the visual effects unter Ubuntu.

Right click on the desktop, click "Change Desktop Background" and
then use the "Visual Effects" tab. You get 3 buttons, "None", "Normal" and
"Extra". If you use "None", all effects are disabled and ImageJ works fine.

Maybe it helps to disable some specific effects inside the System->Preferences->CompoizConfig Settings Manager,
but at the moment I don't know which effects this could be.

Kind regards,
Danny.
