Removing Ranges of Slices in a Stack

Jacob Keller
Dear List,

is there a way to select and/or remove ranges of slices in a stack, without
saving all the constituent images and removing them manually from the
directory?

Delete a slice using the Image>Stacks>Delete Slice command then press shift-r (Process>Repeat Command) to delete additional slices.

My Stack Sorter plugin can perform various operations with stacks, including inserting other stacks with mismatching dimensions.

BoneJ has a little utility that does this - "Delete Slice Range":
