"Save changes" prompt when already saved

Mike Cowperthwaite
1) Open an image, perform some edit (like cropping).
2) "Save As" some new file
3) Try to close the image window

Response: ImageJ prompts, "Save changes...?"  Well, NO -- we just DID
save changes.

Can this go away, please?  "Save As" should be as good as "Save" for
clearing the dirty-bit on the image.

Hi Mike,

this happens if you save the image with a format other than tiff or zip
(compressed tiff). The reason is that metadata associated with the image,
such as scale, gray value calibration, and user metadata won't be saved in
the other formats and would be lost when closing the image.

That makes sense, but it should only apply if the original image *has*
the metadata.  In my case, the original and the Save As are both PNG.

The 'changes' flag is not reset when an image is saved in PNG format.
This is fixed in the v1.43n daily build.
