I would like to show the best fitted ellipse with its minor and major axes of each section on this attached images. Please help me

on http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/developer/macro/functions.html , you will find in the "List Functions"
the DrawEllipse macro :  http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/macros/DrawEllipse.txt

You could give a try to this code...
