boneJ / local thickness

Lonnie Ulrich Andersen
Hi,

If I make a thickness analysis using the above on a stack of images. Can I then get some statistics on the thickness distribution? I need to find a way to compare several stacks to see the difference in thickness.

Best regards

Dear Lonnie,

First, apologies for the slow reply. My mail server inexplicably marked your message as spam, and I just found it now.

Yes, you can get statistics. Thickness calculates maximum, mean and standard deviation by default. If you have some other needs like making a histogram, then select the graphical output option to get a 3D map of the thickness values, which you can analyse as you wish.
