This is not a very clear description, what is the problem?
Accuracy? If your images have a zero background, you could kill
the threshold, create a small selection around the point and run
"Measure" again to get the center of mass including any lower
intensity that was below the lower threshold before.
Measuring the wrong particle? You could have a look at my
macro posted previously

position in the previous slice.
