imagej iphone app?

Ben Larson
Hi all,

I am new to the listserv, so forgive me if this is already an old topic of
discussion. Is anyone out there working on an imagej iphone app? If not,
would such a project be possible, and would anyone (preferably someone with
some app development experience) be interested in working on or at least
discussing the feasibility of this project with me? I have some programming
and image analysis experience but virtually no experience with developing
software, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

There are some technical difficulties to implementing this, but the
challenges are not completely insurmountable.  I have a meeting in Bldg 12
tomorrow at 2pm, let me know off-list if you have some time tomorrow
before/after that when I can stop by and we can talk about it more.

Thanks,
Justin Senseney

The iPhone does not support Java and ImageJ is written in Java. Thus,
you cannot run ImageJ on an iPhone natively.   You can run imageJ on a
Citrix server and use the iPhone as a terminal app. Perhaps there are
other client-server implications that are possible as well.
