Hello ImageJ users:
A colleague of mine and I are analyzing fossil leaf images with damage markings. The images themselves have low contrast and enhancing contrast followed by thresholding is not helping much. The next idea we have is to click on a well defined damaged area and tell ImageJ to expand the pixels from the clicked point until it "sees" a boundary. Is there a way to do that? In other words, what we are trying *not* to do, is to manually tell ImageJ what areas to calculate as it will take a long time.
