Plugin to ImageJ to control Sony XCD-SX90 Firewire 800 Camera

Dear All,

I am new in the group, but I have been used the nice ImageJ since the very biggining…

I am using the Sony XCD-SX90 SXGA Firewire 800 B/W CCD Camera, let me know if there is someone using  a plugin to acquire and control this camera from ImageJ.  I need use this camera in another macs but the commercial drive is out of order now…

Hi Paulo,

If your camera work with OpenCV, then you might have
a chance to access your camera from ImageJ with our plugin.

It appears your camera supports the IIDC protocol, so you should be
able to control it in Micro-Manager with the DC1394 adapter:

Note that this driver does not work on Windows, but it does on Mac and Linux.
It's best to download Micro-Manager which includes ImageJ and Java- so
you will have a second, self-contained copy of ImageJ on your
computer:
